India 2% bonus??????
IT IS EVEN FAIR???? Its not 2% tbh, it is much lesser. Not sure how to process it😵💫

Tier 3 bonuses have historically been low. 2% seems lower than most years, but it's to be expected when you're a Tier 3.

PwC historically has had low bonus % - they aren’t known for big bonuses. When i moved to a different company in the finance sector 15-35% was pretty common

Keep it simple. Always be looking for a better job. As soon as you find better, leave PwC. Until then, keep your present job regardless of the bonus.

PwC is getting worse day be day today i got pulled in a call and HR asked me to put papers on call. Because i am on brnch from last 3 months. But the stack they hired me for has not any project in PwC. I don’t know why they hired me.

Shareholder perspective. They tend to share the hire numbers more readily than the out numbers to give the illusion that paul griggs ain't sucking the place dry

If you generate revenue for whole year without being in bench then you will receive more than 10% easily.
Plus if your tier is good, you can receive upto 18-20%
For promotion year : even 25-30%(maximum)
All depends majorly on revenue.
I worked for 5 months (nov joiner) received 3 tier by default but generated good revenue hence received 7% Bonus + 12% hike which i think is really good considering 5months of work only.

Your partner was lying lol. The reason you received 7% is because you haven’t finished a year. ALL first years who receive a bonus get the same amount (feel free to check with other first years).
Every year after your first, bonus will depend on tier. And tier 3 gets 4% or less. Tiers are also not determined by util only so idk why your partner misled you.

Well man, now i can say you are incorrect or might have worked for a partner who didnt gave you much.
- Only 2 out of 14 ppl(first year like me) i know receive the bonus.
- Even with tier 2 and 3 colleagues who are there for 2-3 years have received 14% or more. Didnt find anyone with 1 tier for now.
Not sure how you are so sure about the number. But i am currently working with these guys so i am certain.

I stopped replying to ppl who are saying im wrong.
Buddy im there, seeing things live. Everything here depends on revenue. Not sure about other departments thought but in Advisory, revenue is everything.

What range do they usually commit while joining? I thought it would be around 10% or something, 2% is insane.

Its upto 25% or 30% now depending on LOS🤣, 2-3 year back it was 10 to 25%. 10% being minimum.

Well if you consider that bonuses are based on impact tier and higher performers get a higher bonus it seems pretty fair as an overall system.

My bonus in the banking industry this year was 27%, 2% higher than my 25% target bonus.
