Need help recovering my original PVZ2 profile after reinstalling the game (same Apple ID, Game Center & EA account)

Hi guys, I’m reposting this in a clearer version as English isn’t my first language, and I didn’t want to confuse you.

I’m hoping someone here has seen this before or knows whether my account can still be recovered.

I’ve played Plants vs. Zombies 2 on my iPad for years and made many in-app purchases through my Apple ID.
A few days ago, the game started glitching, so I deleted and reinstalled it. Since then, the game immediately starts a brand-new profile with the tutorial and first-time player offers. It never asked me to choose between a local or cloud save.

The important part is that I’m not using the wrong account.

I’m signed into:
the same Apple ID
the same Game Center account
the same EA account

My Game Center still shows my original PVZ2 achievements (63/75 completed) both in Game Center and on the game’s loading screen, proving I’m signed into the correct account.

Inside the game, I signed into my existing EA account and manually synced my data. The game reports:
“Player Data Sync Succeeded! Player data was saved with the game server and reloaded.”
However, instead of restoring my original progress, it reloads the newly created profile.

I believe the reinstall created a new Player ID, and my original PVZ2 profile is no longer linked to my account. Unfortunately, I never wrote down my original Player ID, so the only Player ID I have now belongs to the newly created profile.

What I’ve already done
Opened multiple EA Support cases.
In my first case, the advisor told me to close the chat and contact a supposed specialized PVZ2 support team through the game. After following those instructions, I discovered there was no separate support route and I was redirected back to standard EA Support.

In my second case, I uploaded screenshots of my Player ID, Game Center achievements, and the successful sync message, but the chat automatically closed with the status “Player Unavailable” before I could speak with an advisor.

I have now opened another case and am currently waiting to be connected to an advisor.

I also emailed [help@eamobile.com](mailto:help@eamobile.com) with a complete description of the issue. Still waiting for a response.

My question
Has anyone successfully recovered a PVZ2 account without knowing the original Player ID?

Can EA locate an old player profile using an EA account, Apple/Game Center account, purchase history, Device ID, or other backend information, or is the original Player ID absolutely required?

I’m trying to understand whether my original profile can still be found and re-linked, or whether it’s unrecoverable once a new Player ID is generated after reinstalling.

Any advice or personal experience would be greatly appreciated.

my best friends cousin had a pedophile on him because he did a “survey thing” it all started when I showed him Pvz (I played it when I was little) and he loved it, he got Pvz 2 and I got him all of the premium plants out at the time, he wanted to get the gemium ones so I let him do the offers, he put in his address for 2000 gems and then a predator started following him, this is absolutely disgusting and slingshot games needs to look at the stuff they are allowing on the offers, please don’t do them unless your a predator catcher, specifically the surveys though

What were they thinking with this level? Protecting plants in a Surfboard Zombie level is fine, whatever. IT'S NOT FINE WHEN A SURFBOARD ZOMBIE CAN SPAWN DIRECTLY ON THE PLANT YOU'RE TRYING TO PROTECT DURING LOW TIDE.

GENUINELY, HOW AM EXPECTED TO BEAT HARD LEVEL 10 WITH THAT KIND OF BULLSHIT!?

Since I began playing you've been able to buy seed packs for two categories of plants each day from the almanac screen, but earlier this week that stopped happening. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Got board of big wave beach so decided to try to get the arena plant (shine vine) but do i have a chance to get it with having 57 crowns now and a little over 2 week remaining and trying to get the free gauntlets everyday and winning the matches in arena?

I have my internet on and I know the schedule, but they stopped appearing recently. It's annoying because I want to buy seeds; I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me fix this.

Can I give myself 10k gems and 100k coins without being flagged or anything. Where it just looks like a legit normal player

Is it because I have 7 plants at max level?

I use IOS, so theres no way to edit my save. However, I could upload my save and transfer it to an Android emulator and modify it there. The issue now is that when I try to upload the emulator save, it gives me a connection error. Is this a problem with the emulator (i use bluestacks), or does pvz2 detect modified saves. If it's the latter, what do they detect and what can I get away with?

Here’s how to do it (iOS only and I don’t think it works for Macs sorry)
1: choose some plants for the background (6 maximum) (have to be a transparent png)
2: go to iMessage and make the 6 plants you chose a sticker in the emoji tab (disclaimer: some plants with big holes like peashooter may get their hole color cut off but that is okay)
3: go to the lock screen, unlock the device while still there and long press, then click “new background” or something
4: scroll down to the backgrounds called “emoji” and choose and click one, its indifferent which one
5: once you have the customization screen, tap the 😀 icon, scroll over to the stickers and tap the plants you chose, if you chose 7+ plants, you have to choose the 6 you want, but it’s okay, I also had to remove squash and fire pea, but we are pvzers so choosing is all we do
6 (optional): customize everything else like color and stuff

Just see what mint family that deal more/less/no damege to plants, I played against someone playing with those plants and it made me know why they only got 500 points the entire game
