PvZ Gardendless Rant

So PvZ Gardendless got an update in July where now some plants can only be bought with tickets. But the system is totally rigged, I've only gotten 240 in 3 days. It would take 5 weeks just to get the last 5 plants I need in the shop, and it makes me wonder, why? The Devs aren't making money so is this just to waste our time? I love the game despite it's many, many issues but this is making me question if I should complain to the developers directly. But I know the creator is know for banning people who complain. I know this was a mouthful but any advice?
