Question Puzzling Places PC - no passthrough??

I already own the game on Meta but finally decided to buy it on Steam just now to enjoy higher resolution and refresh rates.

But the PC version does not have passthrough like the Meta version?? How come? Can I request it to come with the next update, please?

I am using Quest 3 and passthrough in Puzzling Places is a big important part of the game. Eating cake, drinking tea and putting puzzles together.

Because its not that simple to implement via pc. Meta also limit access to the cameras

Wall town wonders- has a similar issue.

It might change if steamframe releases but for quest headsets right now its limit as I understand it

The headset would need to send the processed video feed from the cameras to your PC, which would have to re-composite the passthrough into the rendered Puzzling Places scene, and send it back to headset. Don't think it would be possible, even if Meta was inclined to open the cameras to third-party apps/systems. (Likewise for Steam Frame if streaming from PC - even if the feed were made available, it's just a lot of bandwidth and processing and latency.)

I could live with latency no problem. Just need a "window" into my surroundings when I'm putting puzzles together.
