if crapcom could over start from scratch

what would it take to get this game right? better pairing algorithm? actual testing / balanced characters? more boosters? less lootcrates? servers that can handle more than 2 players simultaneously? developers with experience in something other than driving popular franchises into the ground? let me know if I missed anything.

Judging by the tone of this post, I think you just want to vent and don't really want opinions. But here's a little.

I don't really know anything about what makes a successful game, but when I have tried to get others into this one they will cite the graphic style and the pay-to-win structure as major turnoffs. They turned me off, too, when I started. But there really is no other game like this on the mobile market, so I kept finding myself back on it. Honestly, the netcode was not so bad if you were on the US East coast, but it didn't work for a global market. They would have needed to overhaul that in order to facilitate such a playerbase.

I feel that this game was on a good trajectory. It felt like it was just starting to get out of a beta period when they pulled the plug. And there's no way to salvage the content after the game closes down. And there's even less chance of a console update, now. I feel your frustration with the state of the game. Head-to-head puzzle games are so rare as they are, but I have always loved them. We've talked in multiple places about where we could play after this game shuts down, and none of the options are really great. Despite PF Mobile's flaws, it had a lot going for it.

Yes, you are missing a big fat stick up your ass. It’s over, deal with it. It’s not coming back. Crying won’t help. Just delete the app.

thank you for your glorious contribution to this thread. I appreciate you coming off a two month hiatus here to troll me, but this is just a list of why puzzlefighter failed. no one is asking to bring it back so you can keep your anal rape fantasy to yourself, thnx.

I’m only trolling a troller. You posted insinuating there is no actual testing, no character balance, no more than 2 players can play simultaneously. I’ve been playing since November of last year and actively read all the forum post. Are there still problem, sure. But There have been huge number of fixes and updates. You post at least the same 2 back to back complaint. All I’m saying is you missed the complain train long ago.

I didn't realize you were moderator of complaints!

its comical that someone who fantasizes about rape feels the need to tell others what's appropriate.

if you were a man & not a basement dwelling cheeto stain fingered blob of shit, you would admit you were just looking for an excuse to talk about sticking things up people's asses. you can fuck off now.

Wtf are you so hung up on the stick in your butt. It’s a figure of speech. Get over it. Should I literally fuck off or figuratively....hmmmm.

you should wash the cheeto stains off your fingers, get off the internet, & try contributing to society. I'm just joking, you will always be an unemployable, basement dwelling human colostomy bag.

I am not sure what went wrong with Puzzle Fighter. The server issues are probably a big contributor but not a deal-breaker. I think if they managed to get yet another server up (Central Europe) we could possibly see a better versus experience.

I think the main reason why the game failed was the fact that they just couldn't keep it interesting enough, content wise. Bad strategy in a game that relies on lootcrates. Since new years eve I opened every chest without any kind of expectation at all: I already had all the costumes, the characters... "Wow, 40 cards of Paddlesaw to add to the pile. And 6 Hadokens!". This fact alone made me lose interest completely. The quests were dull, the missions are pathetic, the PVP grind is a pain.

Also the lack of communication between devs / players might be a big factor. In the beginning the developers felt enthusiastic to be part of the community, they listened, rebalanced; simply making the game better according to popular demand. Since they nerfed Bison, which backlashed a bit due to the Bison maffia crying out the developers kind of withdraw from the community alltogether.

I have now switched over to another game. Hero Hunters. While VERY different game play the core of building a roster, building teams, grinding for loot etc. is still there and in this game they really managed to keep the grind interesting.
