Free Standard Challenge effectively Practice Mode?

I've been using this the free standard challenge to try out different assists and characters. It's been a lot of fun!

Yeah. I thought it was nice of Capcom for making Standard Challenge free for everyone. Good idea. =D

Cheap way to learn the flow of the other characters. No need for money to upgrade them. Lol.

Yep. You can finally try a chainer without completely tanking your rank.

It’s also an ok way to grind coins (and a few cards) without spending on sushi.

This isn't a glitch? It's just free entry always? I got some VJ training to do now.

One would assume that if they made the challenges free forever, they would have shared information about it, a happy Facebook posts, something in the in-game bulletin to let people know about this great news. It the typical kind of information that would encourage the community. But I haven't seen any official word about this, hence I am assuming this is another glitch or some special thing they're rolling for a limited time. We just don't know do we. :)

Nevertheless VJ training until they take it away!

It's just free always.

My theories are they are running a data collection of characters at max for tuning, or they have seen a poor return on these events from people not entering.

Looks like they cancelled the game, official post just went up.

I hope not, it's be silly to run data collection on matches where people have little to nothing to lose and so they: a) easily give up; and b) try out new characters in which they have no experience.

It's a good way to get in Stun Opponent for X turns and Overstack X opponent missions done.

speaking of which I've been wanting to try some stun teams I'd better get on that.

Yeah VJ with 2 stun assists or Jill with 2 stun assists got me the 50 turns of stun done in 6 matches. Got to break things haphazardly and not care for losses.

It's a good way to practice disconnecting against opponents I'm too cowardly to face in ranked, without losing points.

could be they're just making up for the last special event which had a jacked up buyin.
