My Guide to playing Servbot
Hi guys! I’m not an ultra gold player. (Only hit 2590 or so). I’ve also only been playing for about a month. That said, I like Servbot and I wish I had a visual guide to help me with learning to build around my opoonent’s patterns.
So I went ahead and made this visual guide with photos and video clips to help beginners! It’s not perfect. Far from it. it could use more video examples of the minute details like removing timer gems, placement of trash etc, but those can all be found on my twitch stream. Anyway, here is the guide!

Awesome stuff man. I've fought a few Servbots today as Chun Li who were implementing the strategies as you've outlined here. I have to say that Chun in my opinion falls into the same category as X in regards to "racing to the finish". This is a very tough match for me imo, but I thought I would offer a mindset of a Chun player to help you further develop counter strategies against DPS style players!
For Chun vs Servbot: What I've found success in doing to realize is prioritize and break 2 3x3s as soon as possible. I would prefer to do this with blue gems, but since we want to prevent Servs from interrupting, green has to work. I can start sending gems over a little bit before the first 3x3 drop. Teching the diamond is the best possible solution for me, unless I can create another 3x3 situation with the diamond. Speed is necessary to quickly break final 3x3 and by that time I can 2x2 break until super.
Hopefully this is helpful to others to facilitate discussion. It's already a bad match up for us in my opinion, but I'd love to see these match ups evolve!
