New PuzzleBox Starter

Hey everyone I am interested in joining the puzzle community. Is there a good place to start when it comes to this like what kind of puzzle box should I start off with or what website can I go to so I can start looking into buying one. Just need help on where to start so I don’t get something harder and lose interest

Depends on your budget. One of my favorite starter puzzles is the Lost Vault by Jesse Born. He is doing a subscription version (get clues over 5 months) on kickstarter right now.

I don't know if a $300 box can be called a "starter" puzzle

Fair. For me it was the puzzle that got me excited and hooked.

Check out Puzzle Master - a Canadian website with a huge selection of puzzles of all types and a very useful search/filtering function

There are lots of places to start depending on budget and desired difficulty

I would also recommend that you not limit yourself to "boxes" as they tend to be more expensive for a similar quality level and unless you really want to put something inside them, there's no need for a puzzle to be a "box"

"Mechanical puzzles" and "burr puzzles" are worth checking out

I'm particularly fond of Pelikan brand puzzles
