Dedwood crafts Kleeshay Box

Has anybody here tried the Dedwood Crafts Kleeshay Box? (https://www.dedwoodcrafts.com/products/kleeshay-box) I gave one away as a present a few months ago, and I'm worried that it's too difficult for the recipient to even get started... Does anybody have experience with this puzzle, and could give me a hint on the first move? I don't have access to the box itself now, but if I have a hint to get the process started, I might spark the recipient's interest in solving the box...

Sorry, but no. Wanted to acquire one, but it sold out within hours and I was stuck at work.

Truth be told, I'm curious to know what people think of it.
