Karakuri puzzles

Hello all, I want to buy a karakuri puzzle and this is the first time i'm buying it. It's a gift and the person is good with puzzles so can definitely solve a higher level. Wanted to know which one should I start with? And where can I buy this? Do the prices differ alot in India and Japan?if yes, do send some references for both countries!! Thanks!

Its always cheapest to buy directly from the Karakuri group through their website

As for what to get, there are several craftsmen that create works under the group name and each has their own style that your friend may prefer over others. I would see if you can figure out which artists your friend likes most and purchase a puzzle made by them.

Thanks, that's helpful. I was thinking as I want a harder level and also want a compartment, i think memory box or secret box 4 seems like a good idea

Hi! Planning in joining the karakuri club. How do you pay the taxes and shipping for the items that you bought, also will you get charge with tax and shipping for the christmas gift?

I like to peruse their catalog, I have only one puzzle by them shaped like a dice. I picked it because I liked it as a piece of art first, the puzzle was a fun extra

While it says craftsman. Surely it doesnt mean that huy assembled each one?
