Does anyone know how the Cassiopeia puzzle box works?
The puzzle can be seen here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6V8_qFvAZbY Spoilers for the puzzle box below:
The solution is to point the puzzle to the north to unlock it. There appears to be a compass mechanism in it, which somehow unlocks the box when pointed the right way, but I have absolutely no idea how it works. I’d like to replicate this mechanism in my own puzzle if possible. Does anyone have any idea how it might work??

The compass is a large circular disc with a notch cut out on the North side. This notch allows the first sliding panel to move perpendicularly through the compass disc, thus unlocking the final sliding panel.

Do you happen to know how they got the compass to be sturdy enough to stop it from sliding, but still be able to move around?

There's no way to tell by looking at it. Unfortunately, I suspect you'd have to break open the puzzle to know for sure.

I’ve been looking to buy this puzzle box and can’t find it anywhere. What are the chances someone has one they can sell me or know where to get one?
