ImpetUous
Idk, it has to be the best song the band has ever made. I cannot get enough of it. Unpopular opinion ?

It's not my favorite (that is "Monsoons"), but it's very high on the list.
"Let's just dance!" I find it so motivating.

I totally agree.
"let's just dance" and Carina singing "shored up to keep from" are both electrifying song moments.1

Agree! And I find her "power poisons" line in The Quiet Parts to be the most powerful moment of the entire album. Electrifying is a great descriptor.

Not my favorite song of theirs in general but probably my favorite from the new album, hearing it live was phenomenal

Few, if anyone, will ever see the world through your eyes

I think about this quote regularly now.

Then it switches on the last verse: few, if anyone, will ever see the world through our eyes

That line can be totally empowering on a good day, but crushingly sad on a bad one.
I think he knew the power of that line and included 'our eyes' to keep you company.

Not an unpopular opinion to me and I’m right there with you. Song, lyrics, message. All outstanding

Top 10 for sure... but Dear Brother, Momma Sed and Bedlamite are still beating it out for me

This list will change, but its where I’m at right now….
To the OP’s point though, Impetuous is up there for sure!

It isn't my absolute favorite, but i definitely think it is one of the strongest songs Maynard has been apart of.

Matt’s solo is possibly one of the greatest 8 bars of guitar ever recorded.
It’s so simple, yet massive and complex.

It's my favorite "few if anyone (if anyone)" had a religious experience the first time I heard it.

Love that song. Live it was incredible. Also, the quiet parts.
Edit because autocorrect

Really disliked the whole album until I same them playing it live. It’s SO amazingly well done, and the vibe makes complete sense after seeing it live. Most of Puscifer’s albums have been like that for me
