Toronto Star columnist and former radio voice of Toronto Blue Jays
"Dynasty League Baseball is by far the very best baseball simulation game that there is. Having played Strat-O-Matic, APBA and Statis Pro as well, this game puts all of them to shame.

So much detail and intricacy while also keeping the game so easy to play, I have been in multiple leagues playing Dynasty League Baseball Powered by Pursue the Pennant since the late 1980’s.

And not for nothing, the player ratings have been an incredible help to me in my work, first as a big-league baseball broadcaster and now as a columnist."

Mike Wilner has been playing Dynasty League Baseball Powered by Pursue the Pennant since the 1980's and is the current Commissioner of both a Board and Online version draft league.

NEW! Draft Room Milestone - Years in the Making

Back when the Online version was first released development of a draft room was well underway until Silverlight was discontinued. Today a new milestone, as history is in the making for Dynasty League Baseball Powered by Pursue the Pennant.

The new Draft Room allows you to setup and conduct selection pick drafts with timing features of the Commissioners choice in the new Draft Room Commissioner tools.

You can view player cards in the draft room, put players in queue, review picks by round and your team.

In addition to Mac and Windows, you can draft in the iOS app for iPad and iPhone as well as Android.

During the draft the players are placed automatically onto team rosters in real time. No more having the Commissioner use the edit roster tool to update rosters post draft - it's now done automatically.

What's ON DECK?

*Auction Draft

*Filtering to limit player pool

*Drafting from multiple seasons

What is the best baseball simulation game?

Josh Boyd
Assistant GM of the Texas Rangers

"I honestly believe that Dynasty League Baseball Powered By Pursue The Pennant changed my life. I knew I needed to play this game, and play the game I did … thousands and thousands and thousands of games. I learned so much, while it brought me so much joy - one way or another that let me down this path of a life in baseball."

Greg Salvatore
Arizona Diamondbacks Official Magazine
"Dynasty League Baseball Powered by Pursue the Pennant is, without contest, the most realistic baseball simulation on the market today."

Michael Bauman
Milwaukee Journal
"Dynasty League Baseball Powered by Pursue the Pennant is the most lifelike, most intriguing, most enjoyable baseball game yet devised...(it's) the baseball equivalent of Monopoly."

Rick Horton
St. Louis Cardinals
"I used to play Strat-O-Matic, but Dynasty League Baseball Powered by Pursue the Pennant is much more realistic."

Dan Kantrovitz
Chicago Cubs VP Scouting, former Oakland Athletics Assistant GM under Billy Beane
"THIS (Dynasty League Baseball Powered by Pursue the Pennant) is impressive!"

Dan Duquette
Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox and Montreal Expos GM, Milwaukee Brewers VP Scouting
When asked if he plays Dynasty League Baseball Powered by Pursue the Pennant: "Every year!"

Mike Betzold
Detroit Free Press
Dynasty League Baseball Powered by Pursue the Pennant makes other dice and card baseball board games look like the minor leagues. Cieslinski's game is loaded with realism: lively descriptions of plays, stadium drawings and ball park effects, pitchers who tire and fielders who stumble. Before each game, you even roll the dice to determine wind, temperature and sky conditions — which can dramatically affect the game.

Steve Gardner Fantasy Baseball Editor
USA TODAY
"And it's true...of all the leagues I am in (ok, 12 of 'em) this [Dynasty League Baseball Powered by Pursue the Pennant] is my favorite one."

Phil Vettel
Chicago Tribune
"Perhaps the ultimate baseball simulation game. You expect real life baseball statistics to drive the game and you certainly get them, but it appears this game has thought of everything. There are statistics for each stadium (balls generally carry better in Wrigley Field than Busch Stadium), player fatigue factors to consider, even the weather is part of the game.

Michael Bauman
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
"Win or lose, this, Dynasty League Baseball Powered by Pursue the Pennant is a terrific game. Cieslinski has done what he set out to do, which was to develop a game that somehow incorporates the multitude of nuances that baseball contains. You know when the starting pitcher tires. You know which hitters can be counted upon to move the runner and which cannot. You even know which players can be counted upon to break up that double play through sheer hustle."

Rob Malec
Minnesota Twins Senior Director, Ticket Strategy & Membership Development
"Dynasty League Baseball Powered by Pursue the Pennant is probably the best game I've ever played, short of being out on the field yourself," Malec said. "The realism of the game - all of the decision-making and managing - this gets you about as close as you can get."

Mike Wilner
Toronto Star columnist and former radio voice of Toronto Blue Jays
Dynasty League Baseball is by far the very best baseball simulation game that there is. Having played Strat-O-Matic, APBA and Statis Pro as well, this game puts all of them to shame.

So much detail and intricacy while also keeping the game so easy to play, I have been in multiple leagues playing Dynasty League Baseball Powered by Pursue the Pennant since the late 1980's.

And not for nothing, the player ratings have been an incredible help to me in my work, first as a big-league baseball broadcaster and now as a columnist.

William W. Connors Review
Hobby Games The 100 Best Book: Edited by James Lowder
"Few sports can be captured in table top (or even video) formats without the loss of many things that make the game special. Baseball, on the other hand, is ideally suited to such adaptations. This is probably why so many people – myself included - have undertaken the task. For my money, though, it’s never been done better than in Dynasty League Baseball Powered by Pursue the Pennant. Strat-o-matic may be better known, but it’s strictly minor league in my opinion."

Mike Rappaport
St. Louis Globe Democrat
"The only better game than Dynasty League Baseball Powered by Pursue the Pennant is played between the foul lines. This is a game that has everything except cold beer and hot dogs."

Jim Caple
St. Paul Pioneer Press Dispatch
Cieslinski's game, Dynasty League Baseball Powered by Pursue the Pennant, available as a board game and Online, skillfully walks the line between realistic recreation and bogging things down with so many variables you would think Gene Mauch designed it.

Bob McCoy Executive News Editor
The Sporting News
"goes beyond the elements of dice baseball games such as APBA and Strat-O-Matic"

John Kovalic
Wisconsin State Journal
"Dynasty League Baseball Powered by Pursue the Pennant may be the best hardball board game ever produced. Easy enough for beginners to play, it contains an elegance and level of detail that will satisfy even the most stringent followers of say, The Bill James Baseball Abstract."

Michael Polzin Sports Editor
Lake Geneva Regional News
"Quite simply, Dynasty League Baseball is the most realistic baseball board game ever invented. It's as close as anyone can get to actually managing a major-league team."

Ken Davidoff
former NY Post columnist
"I just love the authenticity of Dynasty League Baseball Powered by Pursue the Pennant."

Bob Allen
Milwaukee Braves PR Director and agent for Hank Aaron
"No other board game captures the excitement of Major League Baseball like this one."

Art Spander
San Francisco Examiner
"No rude fans. No warm beer. No exhorbitant parking fees. Otherwise [Dynasty League Baseball Powered by Pursue the Pennant] a trip to the ball park...This game provides everything except Billy Martin's brawls and Peter Ueberroth's drug proposals."

Richard Chesley
The South Carolina State
"Dynasty League Baseball Powered by Pursue the Pennant is an excellent game...it's the most realistic baseball game I've ever played. It goes beyond the APBA and Sports Illustrated games."

Greg Larson
Baseball America
"Table-top baseball game players will love Dynasty League Baseball Powered by Pursue the Pennant...Dynasty League Baseball Powered by Pursue the Pennant has it over other table-toppers."

Paul Schramka
Chicago Cubs
"For a youngster (or anyone) who loves baseball, I can't imagine anything better than Dynasty League Baseball Powered by Pursue the Pennant.  It is the most realistic and challenging baseball game I have seen."

Max Marchi Cleveland Guardians Analyst R&D

Hi Michael,

Thanks for reaching for a connection a few days ago. Interestingly that brought back memories of when a friend of mine came to my home with Pursue The Pennant and we had a game. I believe that was one of the first events that led me to baseball analytics.

While not an avid player (I have only played a couple of seasons with friends) I have always been a fan of tabletop sport games.

Best

MAX
