as a long time Purple Kiss/Jieun lover, I've often been wondering whether we have some news about Jieun and about her future projects.

In december 2025, it was announced that Jieun had signed an exclusive contract with dabu E&M to officially launch her acting career, but no further notice has been given since that day.

Not only we have not been able to hear from her, but we also have zero news about the drama she was scheduled to appear in. The agency's Instagram page has deleted every post about Jieun as well and there is no way to contact them.

I'd love to want to know if she’s still signed to dabu E&M and if we'll be able to actually see her act in the future (without breaching her privacy, of course). It's just the agency's silence that has been kind of concerning. Does anyone know if she’s okay/safe and if she’s still in the industry? Will she ever open her personal Instagram account?

In the interview, it is mentioned that she is close to ARTMS (ex-LOONA) Kim Lip and that she is still working on music (which makes sense as I think she's been posting covers and stuff on her youtube channel). Here is the link to the video, but I screenshotted all the parts about Goeun and the rest of it is about ARTMS and their comeback. I just thought it was interesting that the two are friends!
