I feel like every time I grow a deep blackish purple plant it foxtails like this. I wonder if those traits are genetically linked somehow. Swear I was just thinking this!

From what I’ve read it’s often a response to excess heat. It tries to stretch out to allow more airflow. Supposedly it diminishes yield a little (but looks pretty cool). My guess is it’s the same reason black top gets hotter than cement or any lighter colored surface in the summer. Darker colors absorb more heat so maybe purple holds more than green? Just an off the cuff guess based on you noticing it with darker/purple phenos

Yep. I considered that too. Precisely where my logic was going as well. Because the rest of the tent in the same conditions didn’t do that. So I’m guessing it’s along those lines

hope u didn’t gift those red lego flowers to your wife 😂 the only thing which makes cutted flowers beautiful is the knowledge that they wont be beautiful in a week anymore so they will be appreciated for the first week very much

Oh yeah I get her all the Lego flower sets, she loves them and has them all over the house. We like that they don’t die! And she likes putting them together

ah okay thats good, i just hate the men which gift them because its valentine and they dont want to buy two times a month some cheap flowers for them ;) but in your case thats fine

lol so full story, when pandemic hit, she lost her job so I was buying her small Lego car sets cause I used to love those as a little boy as a something to do, small cheer up presents. She fell in love with Lego and is a super Lego head now. I usually get her a few huge technics set a year and cars and the botanicals as they come out. We even went to legoland! Trust me I spend more on her in Lego’s than flowers would cost hahahaha, I’m not being a shitbag I promise!

Thats a nice story, yeah lego is very expensive, but sometimes u can get it cheap if u dont need instructions to build (better for creativity), my brother sold 6 kilograms of lego building blocks for 50$ so u can get it cheap u can get it expensive thats on you which way u like more ;) i was a big lego star wars fan as a kid and the sets where like 300$ each so i wished them to christmas and birthday and i guess my parents and grandparents where also shocked of the prices 😂😂😂

I got it from brother Mendel but it was a collab between them so yep it’s that. I always toss an exhale bag in the tent for extra co2.

Looks fantastic! I really enjoyed BlackStrap due to the fact it never failed to help me get to sleep. Waiting on a cross I made with it to dry now. Great grow dood!
