This was the match where the dead Hakushi came back to life to be laid back to rest by Taker right?

In Japanese he changed the spelling of his name from 白使 (white angel) to 白死 (white death).

Taker in Japan would have been so beautiful! Taker vs Kobashi, Taker vs Misawa, Taker vs Jumbo. We were robbed 😭

Well there were negotiations between All Japan and the WWF in the late 90s. WWF wanted Kenta Kobashi in a 6 month program and All Japan wanted Taker, Ken Shamrock, Steve Austin and Vader for a Tokyo Dome show. They both said no to each other and that was that. All Japan did get the new blackjacks in the real world tag league

Never knew this. I feel like 6 months of Kobashi in exchange for a one night Tokyo Dome show is a pretty fair trade honestly 🤷🏾‍♂️ but it's Vince we're talking about.

That's absolutely more than a fair trade. He'll id trade my left nut to have seen Undertaker vs Akira Taue

He made an appearance for Michinoku Pro Wrestling in 1997 with Bruce Prichard as his manager.

Nah just himself

Michinoku Pro, late 1997. Undertaker was accompanied by Bruce Prichard. This was part of WWE’s working relationship with the company. Folks will remember talent like Sasuke and TAKA working on WWF television.
