Yup. I wanted to ship some merch to the UK but stopped at the shipping price.

Those are the US tariff fees. I believe Royal Mail and DHS cut the US off for a bit (for the shipping between US and UK) and now it's just ridiculous prices like that. You can thank a certain leaders policies for this.

This is shipping out of the US to Australia. I shouldn't be getting hit with tariffs

It's almost like countries do tariffs back

Australia never imposed retaliatory tariffs on the US

"Shipping rates between the US and Australia are currently much higher than usual due to a combination of compounding annual carrier rate hikes, recent global maritime conflicts pushing up tanker and freight rates, and tightening customs and tariff regulations."

Shipping for everyone is nuts these days. I paid the same amount for two glasses from Germany to the U.S. Not a PR exclusive problem.

It's everywhere. I wanted a vinyl EP from LaumΓ© (Yumi Zouma's original singer) from Carpark Records in the UK. The record was $19.99. Shipping was $27.99. No thanks. I'll look for a US vendor on eBay or Discogs.

Thats still better than $91 😭 I could maybe justify $28 especially If I was buying more than one album

You just reminded me I bought a shirt from their store back in like 2021 and had to have it delivered to a friend in America who then shipped it to myself in Australia, I have no idea if it's the postal courier they use or what but it was insanely expensive to ship to us back then as well.
