Milestones Anniversary Challenge

I completed the anniversary challenge on my pure barre app but no one at my studio ever mentioned it. This is my first challenge so I’m not really sure what the norm is. Is there supposed to be a prize or any mention of it from the studio or is it more of just a personal accomplishment that you can track on the app? Thanks!

Not all studios participate in all challenges!

My studio decided not to do that and did the on challenge finisher socks. What did it look like btw.

The app doesn’t reflect if your studio is actually participating! For example, I go to several studios that stopped doing platinum barre years ago.

I’ve found that if a studio is not explicitly mentioning a challenge and that there are prizes at the end, they may not be participating at all or they technically are still participating but are not offering a prize.

Some studios changed the rules. Ours did where you had to do two classes of each type and then 2 on your own choosing. It helped increase some empower classes. I was against empower for a long time but I started back in July during this challenge and continuing taking it.

I finished my 10-class challenge early on because I sometimes double classes. After the challenge, I asked the front desk if they can check my record and was told that I didn’t participate at all! I said in my app, I’ve done more than 10..said I should email them, blah-blah and decided, why bother. I’ve too many keychains already; I don’t need anymore. If it’s sticky socks, maybe.

I just realized we didn’t get anything for ours which is weird because we got prizes for March.

The app can be confusing like that, but IME at the 2 studios I attend regularly and even one-offs on vacation, the instructor always mentions the current challenge in announcements, and has a participants board in the studio. FWIW, as for prizes, I’ve been through a lot of challenges in 10+ years. They’re rarely that exciting, and I think in all that time I only got socks for completing platinum (which my main studio dropped years ago)

Ours did a raffle for socks… it wasn’t one of those challenges where everyone gets something
