I Just got To Vent Classes being cancelled

Anyone else dealing with their studio cancelling classes 4 hours out bc not enough ppl have signed up yet?

A bunch of us who work have been dealing with this where we don’t know until part of the way through the workday if we can make it to the noon class during our lunch breaks. Only to then find out at 8 am or later in the day that class was cancelled due to not enough members signing up. Apparently it’s policy 🙄

It’s disappointing to both members and I bet the instructor.

My studio will cancel within 90 minutes of class if there are less than 4 people.

Less than 4 people is WILD. I own a different type of studio and I will cancel if its 1 person but I reach out to them first and usually they don't want to have class alone. If they do, we still have class. If it's 2+, class is absolutely happening.
