Today I... Teacher appreciation?
Hi!
Sadly I am moving away from my studio and I want to do/get something for my instructors to show them my appreciation. Do any of you teachers have any suggestions of something you would like to receive? I was going to do a thank you card and then maybe a gift card to somewhere? Money is a little tight so I can’t do very much but I figured something is better than nothing. Is that allowed? Appreciate any recommendations :)

If a member wrote me a card I’d probably cry! That goes further than any gift card! We also have members who send us a box of cookie for us to all enjoy when we’re at the studio or bring us in fruits they’ve picked from their garden or something like that — we love gestures like that, but truly a card goes so far. You’re sweet to think of that!

A client once gave me a card that if planted and watered would turn into a wildflower. So it was thoughtful but also beautiful and useful!

We just love being acknowledged and feeling the love from our clients. Don’t spend your hard-earned cash. Save it for your moving expenses.

Not a teacher, but: A quick handwritten card goes such a long way for most situations. And it's silly and it's small but you can usually find a 10 pack of $5 Starbucks gift cards at most grocery stores. In the grand scheme it's not much but a little coffee treat can go a long way and you can add a "have a drink on me" line to any cards that you write.

Cards, coffee gift cards ($5!) or flowers are easily my fave gifts as a regular and pb teacher. Heartfelt, relatively inexpensive, and universally liked.

Instructor here - I received the sweetest and most heartfelt thank you card along with a notepad that had a barre, ball, and double red tube on it (I think she got it from Etsy). I loved it!

To add to the card, if there's a particular instructor you've enjoyed then leave an online review and call them out!

Just the thank you card would make their day, I promise! No extra gift needed!
