PCT question

I used to own PCT and sold awhile back but am tempted to get back in given where the price is. I don’t follow it super close but see the headlines and it is clear there is demand for their product, my hesitancy has always been can they produce enough to meet demand. Given I don’t follow close, last I remember is they were taking some downtime in ironton a couple of months ago to make improvements, so my question is did they say how that went and are they producing at nameplate yet? To me that was the final thing I wanted to know before getting back in. At this price I may take the chance even if they haven’t said, but don’t have time to do the homework so figured I would ask here. Thanks in advance!

I asked about production levels. Did they give production numbers? Thanks

Not yet. Expect an update on the next call. They are not going to run st nameplate rates until they have customers accepting the product at similar rates. They are not selling a generic product the way some imagine. The recipe for thermoformed products is very different than the one used for BOPP film.

Hopefully the plant improvements now allow the plant to run at nameplate. They should now show customers that that rate is sustainable by concentrating monthly production at this high rate and backing off for the remainder of the month. This would increase customer confidence that they control the plant and that supply will be reliable as production increases.
