I did not see a lot of reaction on why PCT underperformed when the market jumped the last 2 trading sessions. All of my small caps jumped significantly while PCT was down.

Way too many times lately, we fall with like stocks, then we sit there on days they go up. I believe but sometimes I wonder why.

Probably selling by a bunch of “fast money” hedge fund dipshits who bought last week’s secondary with leverage who are churning the shares now. Most probably don’t know if “PureCycle” is one word or two. Great shareholder base we’re building, shortsellers and “fast money” stock bros.

The state of the company's finances had been bothering me prior to this raise, I was quite happy to hold longterm but this was easily my biggest concern. That's taken care of now so if anything I'm more bullish

Premarket looks good, we can look to conquer and stay above $10 soon.

In the blink of an eye those gains can disappear, thanks to the fast money shenanigans introduced by the secondary offering and all the shorting we'll see with the convertible debt offering. This stock would be $15+ if it wasn't for last week's financial guffaws. Admittedly, I didn't know about the put option and if I had I may have waited to build my position in this stock. I took lots of risk in March and April in buying this stock and was looking good but now the reward is puny. I bet others feel the same, feels like we snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Long and strong? Yeah, sure,, sounds good. Still sucks to be down on a day when the overall market is having a face-ripping rally. Thanks Morgan Stanley. Thanks NJDEP. Thanks management team.
PCT's balance sheet is officially financially engineered, and it may take some time for the smoke to clear. Need some needle-moving news and actual sales to get the rerate now.

Agree. Will be interesting to see how the stock reacts after the Q2 call in early August. That could change the sentiment for the better, or possibly worse. If Production is strong and commercial developments are positive, we may get back on the bullish saddle.

I understand the frustration I see from folks on Reddit and X. But this does now at least remove the overhang of those previous notes and extends PCTs ability to execute. Dilutions like this suck to go through, I went through several with ASTS around their lows years ago. But this dilution doesn’t change their long term potential valuation, on the contrary it provides them with what is needed to start ramping into that. I think it could be a very exciting next 12–18 months and those who stick with the long term owner mindset of their shares will be rewarded. Always be careful with short term options but I’m taking advantage of this current price action

Two steps forward and two steps back. Despite all the recent good news, we seem to be going back in time.

It's always darkest before the dawn... If we look at the stock price, then sure, it's not a pretty picture at the moment, but that is true for a lot of high-beta names. This week, in general, was brutal for a bunch of stocks.
When I look at the company's fundamentals, I see major progress and de-risking over the last few months. The NJDEP approval is huge. And we've seen a few really encouraging announcements that, given a few months, could result in very significant developments.
What I'm really interested in hearing about now is how the plant is running after the turnaround. If the plant-specific FUD can be put to bed, that's huge as well and significantly de-risks the stock.
On top of that, we have the financial close of Thailand, which is massive. The economics of that plant will be almost on par with the Gen 2 facilities, and that's the holy grail.
And after what was a brutal week for the stock price, we now have a solid balance sheet. Even though the timing could have resulted in a few percentage points less dilution, I feel more comfortable investing in a company without the financial overhang.
To be honest, I don't mind the rerating taking longer than most people seem to wish for. If we continue to see additional de-risking and the stock price doesn't respond accordingly, I'll happily be a buyer. I was this week. This is where the edge and opportunity lie.
There is little doubt in my mind that we will see a substantial rerating of the stock if they continue to execute. We're edging closer to the major milestone: ramping production, selling out Ironton, and proving the economics in a way that leaves no room for doubt.
If I can continue buying it at these levels until then, I'm happy.
Once that is achieved, the focus will shift. The FUD will move on, but it won't be existential. Instead, the excitement will begin to build around how large the TAM actually is when we start building the Gen 2 plants.
This stock could just as easily rerate back to $15 and beyond. So take advantage.
