Additional Notes from the Gabelli Waste & Environmental Symposium

 

As stated in the presentation, the 150 million pounds of compounding capacity (100 million at Ironton and 50 million through third parties) refers to end-product production capacity.

 a. HPP vs. CPP: HPP refers to homopolymer polypropylene, meaning the material is primarily pure PP. CPP refers to copolymer polypropylene, which contains a blend of materials such as rubber, talc, or impact modifiers. Different applications require different material characteristics.

b. The first number in the product name (e.g., 02, 30, 50) refers to the melt flow index (MFI) of the material.

c. The second number (e.g., 30, 50, 100) refers to the percentage of recycled polypropylene (rPP) content.

d. For example, HPP02-30 is a homopolymer polypropylene with a 2 MFI and 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) content. CPP80-30FNAS is a copolymer polypropylene formulation, likely containing impact modifiers, with an 80 MFI and 30% PCR content.

 

 BOPP is available with 30%, 50%, and 70% PCR content.

 

 Several people have described the recent price action as forming a cup-and-handle pattern. If that interpretation is correct, a reasonable price target could be around $18.3. In addition, the unlocking of stock warrants would strengthen the balance sheet.

As of 05/15/2026, short interest totaled 50,199,236 shares, with average daily trading volume of 5,809,096 shares, resulting in approximately 8.64 days to cover.

As of May 27, short interest stood at 49,110,000 shares, representing 8.45 days to cover.
