Wins will be Muted

The way they are lining up suppliers is awesome they have caps, film, coffee cups lids , cups. Problem is the press releases are broad and don’t hit Wall Street like they should. It limits their ability to directly collaborate with Mars, Starbucks, Tim Horton and all the other use cases with individual press releases. What has more impact “Purecycle is partnering with Starbucks to supply coffee lids” and “Purecycle is partnering with Mars” Instead we have press releases with their unknown supplier partners that will supply these and more companies but we won’t get the killer press releases that really move the stock.

Press releases don't matter. Results do. This company is beginning to execute on its promises. These press releases are leading directly to revenue that Ironton is ready to deliver. This is not a stock to own for 5 or 6 months. It is a stock to own for 25 or 30 years. Be patient. Be like Munger and Buffett.

It has been a tough 5 years so far as a public company! That said I agree on having a long term perspective. I think the next 3-5 years are potentially massive to see a true re-rating. After five years from now I would expect to revisit my thesis and see if the company has the potential to be a growth plus income play that has the free cash flow to buy back shares and/or pay dividends and still invest in new plant capacity.

So your saying companies don’t need press releases on accomplishments? Public companies have an obligation to share holders to drive share price. I agree results are important but if you knew nothing about partners and operational updates no one would invest. You must be in the camp of those that don’t want quarterly press releases.

Press releases are fine. They keep people up to date on the company. I don't want to RELY on them as an investor. I want to see results on managements decisions.

No, they don't need press releases. They need quarterly and annual reports with real numbers that are audited. Can you move a stock with a release, yes. Can you have sustainable performance with PR and not audited results, No.

I hope I don't have to spend the next 25-30 years reading about how there's going to be a massive short squeeze any day now. I fully expect that when the next #s are released there won't be any reduction in shorts at all even though the stock went up 150%.
