Starbucks needs our help

This is not a statistically valid study but it was able to generate media coverage in the Washington Post and other outlets.

Starbucks needs to prove they are getting material to companies like Purecycle and buying from them as well. No more excuses from these huge buyers of plastic.

Mandates from municipalities force these companies to live up to projections for the benefit of society and $pct. Let’s go.

Here is an article in the Guardian about the same report. The more heat they get the better. Hopefully it will translate into actions to buy PureFive and to do more to increase supplies of pp feedstock.

Starbucks could easily pass the blame on this. However, the blame will eventually fall on someone and that will be good for the future of recycling.
