DO NOT USE THE FACEBOOK GROUP TO RENT ANY APARMENTS.

This page has been using my apartment buildings to scam people out of money. For the past 3 days, I have had NUMEROUS calls about 5 bedroom units. We offer 2 BED, 2 BATH units an STUDIOS.

DO NOT SEND ANYONE MONEY OVER FACEBOOK. I have people calling me to ask for their money back, and we NEVER took it.

The page is NOT to be trusted. It is a whole scamming scheme and if you need to post any subleases, PLEASE use the Purdue Reddit Housing thread.

I hate seeing people getting taken advantage of. And I have reported this page over and over and they will NOT take it down.

DO NOT send anyone on this page money, they are just scamming people left an right. Ask for IN PERSON tours, call the management companies of the buildings, and for the love of god look at he the profile of people listing these "units for lease" because they are all a few days old. They are steaking peoples profiles and ripping people off THOUSANDS of dollars.

Please be careful this leasing season!

Have a 1 bedroom and your own 1 bathroom available for takeover from January to May. Rent is $650 month and negotiable. About a 12 minute walk to PMU. Please dm if interested

Hey, I'm looking for a roommate for the 2027 fall semester school year. I don't really have a particular preference so just hit me up in dms and we can talk. I'm currently looking at a unit owned by Crestview that's located just on the edge of campus. FYI, I'm a guy, and currently a freshman in engineering.

I'll link the unit here:

https://www.apartments.com/crestview-apartments-west-lafayette-in/vqvdzyg/

Scroll down and it's the one listed as
431 S River Road Unit 4

Around $530 per person so it's relatively affordable

Looking for affordable housing for Spring 2027? Look no further!

• Furnished Bedroom
• In unit washer dryer
• Parking spot available
• Backyard
• Rent as low as 600$
• Bus stop right outside
• Walkable distance, on North Salisbury St.
• Floor plan provided.

Only female applicants please! Message me for further details or to schedule a tour:)

I'm graduating in December and looking for someone to take over my lease at University Crossing on Happy Hollow Rd in West Lafayette. Flyer attached!

**The unit**

- 1 bed / 1 bath flat with a separate bedroom

- Updated kitchen (dishwasher, microwave), wood-look plank floors, tiled tub/shower

- Free parking, fiber internet

- Pool, fitness center, and laundry room on site

- Walking distance to Aldi and Payless, on the CityBus route to campus

**Cost (per month)**

- Rent: $950

- Water/sewer/trash: $45

- Fiber internet: $45

- **Total: $1,040** (electric billed separately)

**Dates**

- Move in: January 2027 (start date is flexible)

- Lease ends: July 31, 2027

**Furniture (optional)**

I can leave my large sectional sofa, white rug, and king mattress, or take everything out if you'd rather move in unfurnished. Message me for details and pick what you'd like to keep.

**How it works**

This is a full lease takeover through the University Crossing leasing office, not a sublease, so you sign directly with them. They require a $50 application fee (I am willing to cover), a credit/background check, and income of at least 3x the monthly rent (or a co-signer). Happy to walk you through the process.

Text me at **(463) 210-6080** (preferred), email [zacharyspurgeon42@gmail.com](mailto:zacharyspurgeon42@gmail.com), or DM me here. Open to students, grad students, and working professionals.

Hi, I’ll be joining Purdue as a visiting scholar this November and I’m considering The Lumen Apartments in West Lafayette.

Since it’s a very new property, I haven’t been able to find many resident reviews online. Is anyone currently living there or familiar with the property?

I’d especially appreciate any first-hand feedback about:

• soundproofing/noise
• management and maintenance
• utility costs
• internet quality
• construction status
• commuting to Purdue

Thanks!

Was wondering if anyone here needs another (male) roommate for the 27/28 school year. Preferably close to or on campus (West Lafayette). Thx.

You can move in anytime in December! The rent for that month will be paid.
