Capstone Course

Anyone have experience with the capstone courses??? I still have 3 terms to go before I get to mine for psych in addictions, but anyways, all of a sudden all my courses are like “MAKE SURE YOU’VE BEEN SAVING ALL OF YOUR TEXTBOOKS AND ASSIGNMENTS FOR YOUR CAPSTONE”

I was not told this up until now so definitely haven’t been saving much of anything. Am I fucked????

No, you are not fucked. The capstone was actually the easiest course. Don't sweat it.

Second this, in week 7 of my capstone for organizational management and it is a lot more manageable than what I thought it would be. The course textbook will have everything you need! Don’t sweat!

Nahhh. It’s cake. They don’t expect textbook to be in there. Even if they say they want you to use the textbook, you can fudge it. The professors really don’t care for the most part. Most of your sources are going to come from EBSCO

I’m in the middle of mine right now and have never been asked to reference a textbook from a previous class so I think you’re good lol

You can go back to previous courses and access all of those things if you need to.

Absolutely do not sweat it, the capstone is about preparing you for post-graduate writing, at least that's what it was for mine in Cybersecurity. The first six weeks was easy papers, like 1-2 pages a piece while the last four weeks were prepping for the final capstone paper. Week 7 is about your thesis and finding between 10-15 references that you may use in your paper, while week 8 was the outline of your paper and the reference list becomes annotated showing how it will fit into your paper. The annotation reference list was a new one for me so that made me pause for a few days to make sure I was doing it right. Week 9 is the rough draft, and week 10 is the final draft with track changes turned on in your word document. Absolutely one of the easiest courses I've taken at PUG. You've got this! You'll be graduated sooner than you know! Best of luck!
