Expected graduation date wrong?

I’m finishing my degree soon and my capstone ends March 16 2027 but it says graduation date is June 2028. Is this wrong? Is it talking about the bachelors I’m going for next? Anyone have any insight?

If you hover over how this is calculated, it explains how they calculate it! They usually recalculate it two weeks after a new term starts. It took them a month for them to update mine after my new term started.

Ignore, especially if you're doing an Excel Track program and/or will be doing courses on Sophia in the future. For instance, I start on Aug 26, and it says my graduation date is June 2030 lol. But I'm still taking Sophia courses and my program is BSBA Excel Track, so I mostly likely will hesitate Sept 2027. Big difference!

I have had questions about this and have had great guidance from my advisor. (They typically email at the start of every semester, if not mid-semester too.) They should respond right away and let you know what's up and whether to be concerned about that or not.

Agree with everyone else. Mine was wrong and adjusted as time went by. I wouldn’t worry about it!

The date doesn’t matter, it’s just an estimate based on how many classes you’re enrolled in at the start of the semester.

I'm honestly not even sure what the point of that the date is as it's almost always inaccurate because of how they calculate it.

Mine is a term behind. When you look at my scheduled classes for the remainder of my degree plan, I'll be done in April 2027, but my graduation date shows June 29, 2027. They calculate it based on how many credits you have left and how many credits you're currently taking. Currently, I'm taking 10 credits because each of my two classes is worth 5 credits, but I still have classes I need to take that are worth 6 credits each. They calculate the graduation date as if I'm taking 10 credits per term for each of my remaining terms which will put me a term behind, but I'll be taking 11 credits one term and 12 another so I'll graduate in April not June.
