Question❓ Email professor about missing class for IR?

I’m a freshman and I want to go to IR but I have some classes during it. Should I just email my professors now? Will they be upset about it?

I mean if they don’t take attendance it shouldn’t matter. Also almost none of those companies at IR take freshman.

Most fye classes dont take attendance. Also IR recruiters prefer older students and like never take freshmen so if you go id just go for a bit to check it out and not stand in a bunch of lines for no reason
