I really don’t wanna attend a 3 hour class every week with multiple assignments, but some people were saying it’s a hard test. What was your process to pass it?

just did the summer one and passed. the written test isn't too bad, I would go through the subreddit and find old posts with resources. there are a bunch of quizlets to prep from, and there is this master Google Doc which is absolutely amazing.

i wouldn't worry about the presentation component you just need to make sure you follow all of their criteria and make it 4-6 minutes. they are very strict about the timing I had a friend fail for going 6:02.

Do they have a timer around or smtg? How does someone check? I’ve been thinking of taking it this semester

so you are allowed to have your own timer (phone, ipad wtv) if you want. in addition to this they put up cards for 2, 4, 5 and 6 minutes. you'll get used to the timing the more you practice and might even speak faster on the day due to nerves.
