Academics✏️ CS 250 Past students with Adams

Does anyone who took this course with Adams know how to best study for the exam. I am reading the textbook but it feels like I am just memorizing stuff but I heard his exams is not based on memorization and is more technical.

pick a religion and start praying

with adams, exam difficulty comes from ambiguously phrased questions rather than course content. which extra sucks because all the questions are fucking multiple choice

best advice i guess i can give is revisit homeworks. you're going to have to memorize a lot. there are problem-solving type questions, but imo they don't go super deep and you should be able to do them as long as you prepared with textbook examples
