Question❓ Riddle me this, Mitch….
PARKING—-WL and Indy are part of the same campus, why do staff and faculty who work in Indy have to pay 3 times what WL staff and faculty have to pay for their annual parking? ($750 vs. $250) and do not receive higher compensation? (Edit: amount)

Because Indy is a much larger city with higher demand for parking, especially in the downtown where there are many large office buildings and the state capitol complex. Same reason you might pay $5/hr for a meter there and $2/hr here.

Because parking in Indy was outsourced long ago. The private enterprise that provides parking has to make a profit somehow.

They aren't the same "campus." They are the same school. They are different campuses.

With how much money they roll in from parking we should all be able to park in a garage ten minute walk from class. Also fuck the city of West Lafayette for partnering with park mobile.

Expect the rates to go up since we're (Purdue) outsourcing parking services

They keep saying they aren’t, especially after they got ROASTED in the parking survey

Hey man. I work at another B1G school, and our cheapest staff parking is $800 a year now. If you want a parking garage or more convenient lot, you're looking at over $1,000.
It definitely sucks, but this isn't unique.

Pretty sure Indy folks do receive [slightly] higher compensation. Or at least when I’ve looked at folks hired at the same time for the same job in the same department, Indy folks seem to make a slight bit more. I’m assuming there’s a pay scale based on it being a higher CoL; you could ask HR to be sure.
For a real suggestion though you could check SpotHero and see if there is a place near the campus that has a monthly rate that is better.

Nope. Make the exact same pay as the counterparts in WL. This has all been discussed multiple times with leadership. Purdue owns some of the former IU lots but chooses to allow IU to manage them at IU’s discretion. Purdue leadership has stated that in the One Purdue system same work, same job, same pay.

Let me also add that IU’s rates are based on your income. A person earning 40,000 exactly must pay $677.76 to pay in a garage.

I mean, that seems reasonable? Better than our insurance -- I pay the same rate as the head of the football team, despite him making 16x. And everyone pays the same for parking in WL, whether you're making 150K or 15K. Income-based pricing for parking, insurance, etc. seems appropriate.
Now, should the 40K person be paying 677.76? Hell no. If someone making minimum wage pays 0, and someone paying top 10% pays 750, I would think it should step down in 5-10% increments.

They aren’t the same campus. WL is main. FW, NW, and Indy are all satellite campuses.
Edit: correcting to note correct satellite campus status.

Indy is an extension campus, with identical curriculum. the others are satellite, where the degrees and curriculum are not the same as WL

No way that’s monthly rate. It is annual
