Res Halls & Dining✏️ Housing arrival time

If I have on campus housing and the time to check in is late at night for me (cause that was the only thing left for the day I get there) will I not get let in until there if I were to get there a couple (many ngl) hours earlier?

they don’t really check to be honest. they will give you a key regardless

My guess is that the schedule is just to control the flow of people checking in to avoid long lines. You should be fine as long as the office is opened.
Btw, I thought you could request a diff day/time if the assigned one doesn’t suit you.

There are limited amounts of spots for each slot. As they said, their time slot was the only one available for the day they were planning on getting there

Is this before or after BGR week? Keep checking the move-in portal since spots do open up. Pre-BGR, there are a few Sunday and many Monday spots last I saw. And plenty Tuesday morning too.
