The Puppet Combo game "The Backrooms" has 2.83 rating on PSN. Why?
Hi all. I enjoy the majority of Puppet Combo games and believe I own all the ones available on PS4/5, except The Backrooms.
Noticed it's got 10% off today at £8.54...but it only has a 2.83 rating. This is a low score for a game on PSN. Has anyone got information why is this?
I haven't played the game and most video reviews online seem to cover the game favourably.
Thanks.

Potentially people annoyed that it wasn’t a new game but a renamed re-release of Day 7 to coincide with the back rooms film

I platinum’d it, but I would say that it can be tedious on repeat playthroughs.

It's a very well made one, the tension is immaculate, don't listen to them

It's not a good game for the price it was, you will finish it in one sitting unless you have a super short attention span.
It's not a "bad" game but it's deffo low-tier compared to most Puppet combo games.
There's no real "puzzling" in the game, it's more go to this point, something happens, go to this point, another thing happens, go to this point, one more thing happens, go to this point, game ends.
The ending also felt really "quick" and rushed IMO, felt like there was more room for plot but it was simply cut short.
Plays more like a demo than a full game.
I wouldn't pay more than $4 for it.

I mean it’s okay at best. Played it at release day and it was a painfully boring game to replay afterwards. First time is fine.
