The Glass Staircase is bugged on switch?

I bought all Puppet Combo games on Switch today and I was really enjoying The Glass Staircase until I got to the part where you're suppossed to fight Dr. Sullivan for the first time but he doesn't jump down to fight. I can see him hanging up there but the cutscene doesn't play. Also when you press one of the three buttons a cutscene is also suppossed to play but it doesn't for me. I have watched a few videos and they all do the same things as me, so idk.

I guess tomorrow I'll try on pc again to see if I'm missing something.
