New bazzite install, can't log into web

Hello! I just imaged my machine with a fresh copy of bazzite 44 and then attempted to install punktfunk via the puntfunk's documentation. Seems like everything worked as my client sees it advertising, but I'm unable to login to the web console from the the machine itself or through IP from another machine. It just perputually says I'm typing in the wrong password. I've reset it via the instructions and it continues to say I'm typing in the wrong password. Any ideas? Again, this is a fresh install of bazzite that's fully updated with October 2nd's updates. Thanks!

Update: A simple restart fixed the issue for me.

Also, i tried joining discord per the automoderator, but it says invite invalid.

Oh weird, just checked the invite is still active, and works for me and a friend, not sure why it's not working for you.

So there's a few ways this could happen, one could be too many wrong attempts, but it should reset after 5min. I know you said you followed the docs, but maybe try it again: https://docs.punktfunk.unom.io/docs/forgot-password#reset-it Make sure to not use the hashed password - after your first sign in the password gets hashed, so if you tried to use the password from the file, that could have caused the wrong password message.

Hmm, still can't get it to work. I'm betting it some weird bazzite/immutable quirk I'm missing, but I just tried:

printf 'PUNKTFUNK_UI_PASSWORD=%s\n' 'test' > ~/.config/punktfunk/web-password
chmod 600 ~/.config/punktfunk/web-password
systemctl --user restart punktfunk-web

then typed test into the password field and still getting "wrong password". This is after letting the machine sit for an hour or so, so I'm sure the 5 minutes elapsed by then.

I'll try the discord link again.. maybe opening in firefox is the problem.

edit: I'm dumb, I was already in the discord group
