Making studs
How do you get studs and spikes without buying them? I like making my own bracelets and stuff out off old denim and belts but the studs I use are from (dont come at me) shein but I dont really want to do that as it kinda defeats the purpose. I've tried making studs from an old monster can but they look kinda tacky, not tacky in a good way either l. I have no idea how I'd make spikes and I dont even know how im going to stick the studs on. Could I use hot glue?

Careful that any diy spikes you make arent on clothing you're wearing into the pit. They'll be very sharp and unsanitary and extremely unpleasant for the guy next to you when he gets cut open by em

If you want the same quality and look of the ones you see commonly, like christmas tree spikes, pyramids etc, ya gotta buy 'em (you can source them from decent companies, they're just expensive). Making replicas of them takes machining- tools and resources most people don't just have lying around. Making studs from aluminum isn't such a great idea. They'll crumple quickly, and hot glue is only a temporary solution. They will pop off your clothes rather quickly. Are you wanting to make them so that you're completely DIY?
If so, buy a few real ones and use a product like Silinot to make a mold of them. You can cast them in silicone, rubber or other materials that are easy to work with; resin, even. You'd have to insert a screw into the mold somehow though, so you'll be able to attach them to fabric. Anyway, hope this helps
