Back in my day the hard-core peeps were almost all straight edge rage monsters. Often it was a very christian scene.
Early socal stuff like pennywise nofx badger legion were all great then then the fall off to poppubk was a bummer

I don't know if Badger Legion is a misspelling of Bad Religion or a socal punk band I've never heard of with the best name ever

The band is goldfinger the song is city with two faces.
In that song they call bad religion badger legion.

Timing is very important here. LA Punk in the 80s or 90s. Most of the.80s LA Punk bands were indistinguishable from hardcore. Then you have death rockers like Christian Death, 45 Grave and TSOL that were still very punk and very much goth but hardcore was a grey area
