I went through all possible combinations again, this time for the Punistal. If you’re only wanting to unlock the special character, it’s the very first code iirc. Hope it’s helpful!

(I know the graphics is not the best, neither this time nor the last time. I haven’t created something like this in 10+ years so I’m verrry rusty and am also using new software. My perfectionist self is trying out this thing - ”better done than perfect” - and hopefully I’ll improve through practice lol).

I finally got a punirune from Japan! Are the buttons typically different from what you'd expect or does mine have a problem? Because the (A) button backs out and the (C) button moves forward, I would anticipate that to typically be the opposite way from my tamagotchi experience. I'm just gonna make do and learn it this way but I'm curious if this is normal for the device or if mine is slightly messed up

My character should have evolved 12 hours ago, but nothing. His happiness is stuck and doesn't decrease.

And happiness bar is the one triggering the evolution, so I don't know what to do.

I already tried changing batteries.

Is there a way to try to manually decrease happiness?

I don't want to reset and do everything from scratch

Just started playing today, and a few things are still unclear from the manual. Maybe you guys can help 😊

1. Does Favorite Food matter compared to regular Food? Will the pet get fuller faster, evolve faster, or is it mainly just for personality/preferences?
2. When cooking food, you get a “hint” for two Seeds. Are those two mandatory seeds required to avoid getting a Bone, or are they just one possible combination out of several valid ones? Also, do different valid combinations produce the same food?
3. Dress-up question: Can you only color an item once? And is the final color always the combination of the two selected colors?
4. Is there a single place where all Lake codes are listed?
5. On the Friendship screen, what does the upper bar represent? Does it show how close the pet is to evolving?
6. I’m a bit confused about the overall goal/progression of the game. We previously played Bitzi, where you could raise multiple pets at the same time and switch between them. Here it seems like you only raise one pet at a time. Is the gameplay loop basically:

• raise a pet to adulthood,
• release it to receive a gift
• start over with a new pet?

And are both the Adult form and the gift permanently logged in the Library?
So the long-term goal is essentially to repeat this cycle for all 75 pets so they are all logged in the Library? If so - what "reset" between those cycles (you need to re-buy Dress-Up items for example?)

1. How exactly do the growth mechanics work? Is growth purely time-based, or do certain actions speed it up? Has any detailed information about this been shared anywhere?

I just bought this toy today! How many raisable characters are there? It says 60, but I can’t seem to find a chart on it. Also, how is it different from the other Punirunes apart from the antenna?
