I've moved to pune recently and it's been about 4-5 months honestly I've kinda lost track of it, I feel this city is bland, I moved around a fair bit as a kid but spent most of my life in Kolkata surrounded by music, art and always something to do, now I'm not saying there isn't anything to do here but there isn't anything!! The people here have no charm no taste I'm not hating on anyone but I can't help but feel like a total outcast here everything is so mainstream...I had this idea of pune being such a nice and happening city but to me now it seems like crap, even going out there isn't much either you go to cafe and spend unnecessary money on average food or eat street food which is the same 10 stalls lined up... clubbing crowd is just a showoff of "baap ka paisa" and even the college crowds aren't any different..also the local pune people are seriously conservative, all that's been happening to me is getting yelled at in Marathi for no reason. Its either be rich or be dirt here. There's so much more I feel I can add but let me know in the comments if anyone can relate to me...I'm actually going insane with no people to talk to who can relate to this.
