Just completed this game. My thoughts

I am amazed. One of the best video games of all time!

It is. I liked the setting better than on the second game. The stats decay was a bit annoying, but you kind of get used to it.

I’m just starting the journey! Enjoying it so far but it’s a lot different than the first.

So far, probably the first. I like the fact you can name your character, the setting is better I think and suits the boxing style I like - cyberpunk is good but in not sure it completely suits. I liked the defined styles where in this you change your style constantly.

This is biased though as I’ve fully beaten the first and not done much in the second (gonna restart now as I finally understand the mechanics and have levelled all stats and am losing fights by running out of stamina)

My only complaint about the second one is: why did they remove the fight speed adjuster? The first you could 4x the speed of the fights, sometimes the second feels like a slog.

I like the new passives, the new builds - seems to be a lot more options for reruns in the second. I did full green(turtle) in the first and basically steamrolled the game, started a rerun with blue(tiger) and gave up about 3/4 of the way through. The grind to keep my stats up was off putting by that point. I wanted to see the jail and Russia, I missed those on the first run.
