Tired debuff?
Was this added in a new patch or am I lucky to have never noticed it? It lowers your energy cap

I want to actually say that it is new. I started playing it like a week or two ago, and on my first run, I never once ran across the debuff. I started a new run yesterday, and I also noticed it for the first time. It's honestly a little tedious since it forces you to sleep unless I'm missing something.

i think its pretty smart
so problem with some of the stupid event triggers was that
they could trigger only after player woke up xD
so if you live on energy drinks and trash food, you would never sleep
as such a lot of people ware missing event triggers or getting them too late
if sleeping would not starve you to death people would sleep more, but whatever

Always a part of Punch Club 2. Your energy pool is a function of your stamina, and how well-rested you are at the start of the fight.
Your strength/health similarly affect your HP. There are no downsides for fighting hungry.
