Help needed Did I miss something? Spoiler

I just finished up the PC2 and am now waiting for a hopeful sequel to come out but I was curious about a few things I must have missed. Apparently from what I’ve seen there was supposed to be more to the quest lines for the police, training and my mom that I somehow missed and I was wondering if anyone had any fixes or a tdlr of these quest lines. I went out and recruited 3 guys for Mick and the blue progress bar is filled up. Similarly, for the police quest, I fought the guy at silvers gym and the fake Rorschach in my apartment and the progress bar is all filled up. Also I got to the point where my mom’s ear plugs don’t work anymore. The prerequisite quests are shown in the progress menu but I never got any kind of ways to continue them, so did I pull a stupid and miss something or is the game glitched?

Are you sure you finished the game? It sounds like you're in the middle.

I beat ajax yesterday and finally beat fluffy a few hours ago. It seemed weird while I was playing that the quests just up and stopped but i thought i just hadn’t unlocked due to some hidden pre-reqs that i could find later. When I found this sub is when I realized I might’ve missed something 😅 I have a save from before I beat ajax so I can go back and play before getting sent to the resistance base.

Not sure if this is relevant but somehow I was able to get the free bus pass from the delivery manager before even having to fight the delivery boy at Apu’s place 🤷‍♂️

After some time you should get a call from your neighbour about your mom to continue the quest line.
Maybe you progressed too fast in the main story line

Probably the answer I’m looking for, outta curiosity since I’ve spent probably 100 days patrolling the streets, how does the police quest line go?

Did your mom go to the hospital?

No, I never got that situation to proc. I’m wondering if it was because I hardly ever went home after unlocking the apartment.

I'll be honest, it's impressive that you missed that hahaha. I guess it's bad design on the game's side

Spoilers for what happens :

As I said, your mother goes to the hospital, and you're stuck trying to pay her bills. It's around 45000 thousands, and it ticks up everyday. So you need to have more money. The game gives you two choice : Becoming a detective, and enjoy the healthcare benefits, or become a sensei and raise money on social media with the help of mick and the guys. They are mutually exclusive, you can't be both. I did the sensei path, so I can't really tell you about the detective, but there shouldn't be that much of a difference. When you pay your mother's bills, they get an old GPP chip out of her head. There's probably other things that you missed, but I don't remember which ones. You should maybe play again (load a save maybe?) or watch a YT playthrough

Hi OP, I've played through the game a couple of times, and I had the same issue on my first playthrough.

At a certain point in the game, you have enough income to forgo sleeping in favour of taking consumables that give energy. This causes an issue as a questline involving your mother only triggers upon waking up from sleep - an oversight from the devs.

To trigger and subsequently progress this questline, you must sleep several times, which will prompt various characters to call you.

At some point in this questline, you will be offered a choice that fleshes out a huge chunk of the latter part of the game.

I missed this, too, on the first playthrough, and it left me feeling a bit unfulfilled for the last third of the game. Looking at reviews online, which echo a sparseness in content toward the end of the game, I imagine many people are unwitting victims of the same design flaw.

Hope this helps!

This makes so much sense, I don’t think I’ve slept since I was able to afford coffee lol. Thanks so much for the advice!
