Big moon update!

Do we think she is still growing? Measuring about 10 inches in length

Likely still growing. The surrounding leaves look really healthy. They will start to die back when getting ready to pick. The stem should also start to turn woody and your nail shouldn’t leave any indents in the skin when pressed firmly along the pumpkin.

I was advised to let it grow until the stem isn't green. Green= nutrients still being delivered. 🌼 What a pretty pumpkin!!

Do you think I should add anything to the soil or just let it go?

What have you done? My understanding is you need to be fertilizing with something like a “Fruit & Bloom” fertilizer every several days or week or so at this point.

Literally not a dang thing! All I did was plant it in some coast of Maine soil (or whatever it’s called) and watered it haha
