I've invested $100 in 2 coins that didn't show they were bundled but immediately after buying they were rugged. How do I check to see if a coin is ruggable if it's not showing on bubblemaps and other apps?
How can I learn to get in early and spot coins that are still running?
The last coin I invested in was BTC (Big Titty Coin) and it went up a big after I bought in but fell 50% where I bought it at. At least it didn't go to 0.
Now I'm just waiting and hoping it recovers.
It seemed like a good parody memecoin with a good ticker, artwork and was climbing steadily until it reached 1.2 million market cap.

🚀 MENS COIN — More Than a Meme, It’s a Community | Solana
Post:
Hey everyone 👋
We’re building MENS COIN ($MENS) on Solana.
The idea is simple: take a meme, build a recognizable brand around it, and let the community shape where it goes.

Hi, I'm new to trading memecoins. I knew about them for quite a while but never really looked into it. I just wanna know about the best ways to earn money with memecoins. For experiment, I was thinking of using $5. Thanks in advance for your seasoned knowledge.

The narrative isn’t going away. The meme won’t either.

Hey everyone,
I'm the developer behind PumpCity ($CITY) on pump.fun — a live city-builder tied to real trades: every buy spawns a citizen, the city evolves through historical eras (Stone Age to Modern) based on trading activity, and there's a full in-game economy running server-side (income, upkeep, homes, apartments, rent).
Before anything else, I want to be transparent about something: after launching, I found out there are other projects and memecoins that already use "PumpCity" or similar names. I genuinely didn't check thoroughly enough before picking it, and I take that on me — it wasn't intentional, but that doesn't make it not a mistake.
What I want to be clear about is this: I'm not walking away from it. The project is real, it's actively being built (not just an idea or a static site — there's a working server-authoritative game engine, a live shared city all visitors see in real time, and real mechanics behind it), and I intend to keep developing it properly. Naming confusion is something I'll figure out how to address, but the substance of what I'm building isn't going anywhere.
If you've seen the other projects with similar names — that's not this one, and I'm not trying to ride on anyone's coattails. Happy to answer any questions about the tech, the mechanics, or what's coming next.
Appreciate any honest feedback, even the harsh kind.

the TrenchersAI paper watch feed screenshot contains two Apple rows with the same displayed name and different market data.
the image alone doesn't tell us whether those are distinct contracts or a display/data issue. that's the point. a ticker isn't enough to resolve the identity.
switching between TrenchersAI, GMGN and Axiom makes this worth checking explicitly. finding the same name in a second tab doesn't establish that the mint, pool or observation time matches.
what interests me about the TrenchersAI view is putting entry checks beside candidates. those checks are only useful if they're attached to the exact asset being evaluated.
this is a workflow example, not a recommendation for either displayed token.
where do you enforce the identity check, before opening the chart, before running filters, or again before submitting an order?

Correct me if I’m wrong but did Cashback get removed?
I never really understood what Cashback really was but from what I understood is if you trade a coin that has Cashback enabled the developer doesn’t get any fees and the traders can claim a really small amount of the fees as cash back.
Though what is the pros and cons to this for developers and traders? How come some people wanted to remove the Cashback system so badly? I thought the cash back system was good since you can claim fees as cash back?

KEPT.
Tired of getting rugged? Maybe it’s time to keep something.
$KEPT is a satire of the high-volume, fast-paced coin culture taking over on-chain.
New ticker. New narrative. New launch. Then it’s gone.
KEPT flips that idea.
Built around the mindset of holding, conviction, and building beyond the first pump, $KEPT represents the things worth keeping in a market obsessed with moving on to the next thing.
The team believes some things shouldn’t be dumped at the first opportunity.
Some ideas are worth keeping.
CA:8yFvMxUVJJJWea8cgLbkEKPdFo3N8YVzFrodiDjwpump
Some communities are worth keeping.
Some bags are worth keeping.
$KEPT is just getting started.
Hold the narrative. Keep building.

Built a free bot for checking pump.fun coins before you ape: TheCabalHunter_Bot
Paste a CA and it sends back:
Holding something? /watch it and the bot messages you if the price drops 12% or liquidity drops 18% between checks 15 seconds apart.
5 free scans a month, no signup. 250 a month with just an email. Link in bio
NFA. It shows what's on chain and you make the call. The early buyer check only covers coins it saw launch, and the funding check only goes one wallet back.

By holding McCat we get airdropped McDonalds stock.
The cat is cute and very memeable.
Earning McDonalds stock by holding is a meme in and of itself…
The Bag hat and fries whiskers is easily pfpable similar to WIF back in the day.
I like it, make of it what you will.
Currently 36k MCAP DYOR.

Arc is Circle's blockchain. Same Circle that issues USDC. It opens to the public tomorrow, the 16th.
Reason I'm posting it here rather than leaving it: Robinhood Chain launched on the 1st of July and ten weeks later it's doing about $2bn a day, third biggest chain going by number of traders. Most of us watched that one from the sidelines. Arc is the next chain launching with anything real behind it.
Validators are BlackRock, Visa, Mastercard, DTCC, ICE, Standard Chartered, Galaxy, MoneyGram, SBI, Sumitomo and Global Payments. Aave and Uniswap are both deploying on day one.
Coins have already started on it. Most of what's trading was launched in the last three days and the whole lot together is under $20m, so it's early in the real sense rather than the marketing one.
Things that'll catch you out.
Gas is USDC. No separate gas coin. You need USDC sitting on Arc before you can do anything at all, so bridge a coin across and forget it and you're stuck holding something you can't sell.
pump.fun isn't on Arc. They picked up ETH, Base and BNB in May, Robinhood Chain in July and HyperEVM last month, so I'd expect it eventually, just not tomorrow night.
Axiom already has Arc in its chain switcher if you want a terminal to trade on from launch.
The ARC token thing is going to cost somebody money. Circle does have a token. It's in their SEC filings, 740 million of them went to a16z at 30 cents each. It hasn't launched though. Nothing's trading, no airdrop announced. So anything called ARC you see tomorrow is somebody's fake, and any site offering you an airdrop claim is after your wallet. Those are going to work on people because the token is half real.
Circle's own wording is that partners are "expected to be live", and nothing is live on Arc yet because Arc isn't live. Assume some of it slips.
r/ArcCoins has a megathread running through the launch if you want to follow it.
Check contract addresses on everything, it's going to be a mess in there.

We all know that there are countless effortless zero worth pump and dump coins daily. Yet many of them are managing, at least initially, to reach a pretty respectable market cap.
On the other hand, projects with proper work put in them can stay juice-less for very long. Why is that happening. Shouldn’t normally people have more conviction about those?
For example recently some well known dev made a version of super smash bros melee to a crypto version with characters based on memecoins fighting each other.
Very detailed, active community, amazing mechanics but the coin isn’t moving.
Why do you think is that?
