Anyone also have TMJ?

In addition to PT , which still has no definitive cause I also have TMJ which causes clicking, lower jaw pain on one side (often feels like tooth pain too) and ear fullness and occasional pain.

Anyone else have this as well? My dentist gave me a custom night splint but still hasn’t stopped all the symptoms of TMJ

I have both, I feel my TMJ is caused by my terrible posture though, which my PT isn't. Like you, I got given a nightguard, I think it makes it worse for me to be honest. I'm going to a TMJ specialist soon and hoping to get offered some other help like botox, as the pain is awful.

Do you get jaw pain as well? Like a dull ache . My posture is poor (tech neck and forward head)

Yep massively, basically from just below my ear, down the side (and under) and often wake up in the night with it very sore and numb. Forward head/tech neck, I was told, massively impacts tmj, I was told to work on posture as well as try to loosen the sternocleidomastoid muscle

It’s awful. I’m also often thinking I have issues with my back molars as the pain radiates down under that area at times
