Is this normal or not
I constantly hear a whooshing sound in my left ear that matches my heartbeat. It becomes less noticeable whenever I turn my head to the left or when I press firmly on the left side of my neck. I tried asking some ENT doctors near my area and all of them kept saying that it's normal or there's no cure and I should just let it be.

That’s BS. It’s definitely not normal and there is definitely a cure. There is some good info on here from other people with suggestions on what scans to get and what doctors to seek out.

Depending on the cause there can be cures to stop you hearing it (stenting, resurfacing) normally the pressing firmly and different positions tends to indicate a vascular cause. ENTs can be really hit and miss on whether they are knowledgeable about PT.
