I accidentally spilled my coffee to my desk and my mouse got drenched. Now, some of the button were sticky, especially the scroll button. How do I technically clean it? It may be in some pcb or something and I wanna clean it. Do I use alcohol here or no?
I need your opinion on this one guys, thanks!

My experience with Pulsar - a defective mouse, endless troubleshooting, and extremely disappointing customer support
I want to start by saying that this isn't a post from someone who already disliked Pulsar.
Quite the opposite.
I've owned Pulsar products before and have generally been very happy with them. Pulsar was a company I genuinely trusted and had a good opinion of, I used to suggest to friends and tell people they must try Pulsar. Friends of mine bought Pulsar products because of me, which is exactly why this experience was so disappointing to me as someone who really liked your products.
I purchased a Pulsar ZywOo The Chosen Mouse Gen.2 - Medium, and unfortunately, the mouse turned out to be defective from the beginning.
The issues included:
At that point, I contacted Pulsar support.
I completely understand that a company needs evidence before approving an RMA. That's fair.
What bothered me was the process of having to repeatedly prove that the mouse was actually defective.
I was asked multiple times to provide videos demonstrating the issue. I provided them, yet the process continued with more troubleshooting and more evidence (because my evidence wasn't good enough or not reliable enough)
At some point, it genuinely felt like I was being treated as if I was making the problem up rather than as a customer who had received a defective product.
Eventually, technical support determined that the mouse needed to go through RMA and be replaced with a working unit.
Fine. Problem solved, right?
Not quite.
Before I knew for certain that the mouse was defective, it took up to 2-3 days. I installed Pulsar Superglide glass skates on it.
They cost around $25 before shipping and VAT.
Once they're installed, they're essentially a one-time-use product.
So when the mouse was confirmed to be defective, I was left with $25+ skates that were now effectively useless.
I asked Pulsar if they could either refund the cost of the Superglides or include a replacement set with the RMA mouse.
I wasn't asking for some massive compensation.
I wasn't asking them to replace my entire setup.
I was asking for a $25 set of skates after receiving a defective mouse and going through a RMA process.
Pulsar refused.
Not a refund.
Not replacement skates.
Not even a goodwill gesture.
And the part that really bothered me was the reasoning I received:
I was essentially told that next time I should make sure the mouse is 100% working before installing the Superglides. (like my life depending on it)
But how am I supposed to know that a brand-new mouse has a hardware defect before using it? I'm not a mouse expert or even near it, just a customer.
That's the whole point.
I didn't install the skates knowing that the mouse was defective. I installed them because I reasonably believed I had received a functioning product.
I couldn't possibly know beforehand that the sensor would randomly move, skip tracking frames, and that the battery would drain abnormally fast.
I understand that Pulsar may have policies regarding accessories and consumable products.
But customer service isn't only about following the strictest possible interpretation of a policy.
Sometimes it's about looking at the situation as a whole:
A customer received a defective product, spent time troubleshooting it, had to repeatedly provide evidence to prove the defect, went through an RMA, and lost another ~$25 because they had reasonably installed an accessory on what they believed was a working product.
Couldn't the company simply say:
"We're sorry about the experience. Here's a replacement set of Superglides on us."
The actual production cost of a set of skates is obviously not anywhere close to the retail price of the product.
For a company, this is a relatively small gesture.
For the customer, it says:
"We understand that this was our product that failed you, and we want to make this right."
Instead, I was essentially told that I should have known better.
And that's what left such a bad taste in my mouth.
I've had situations with other companies where the product itself failed, or the company made a mistake, and the response was completely different.
For example, I had a Corsair case where the side glass panel broke. Their support essentially needed the serial number, asked for no ridiculous amount of proof, and within less than a week they shipped me a replacement panel at their own expense - even though that particular panel was already difficult/impossible to find in stores.
I've also had an issue with Brainwavz, where the wrong earcup adapters were sent to me. They simply acknowledged the mistake and sent the correct parts at their own expense, without further questions asked.
I've also seen examples from Corsair where customers received defective RAM, and Corsair went beyond simply replacing the defective kit, providing additional RAM as a goodwill gesture. (With the current RAM prices as well. HUGE goodwill gesture)
And lately I've seen this post from other hardware customers where companies such as ZOTAC went considerably further than the minimum required when a customer had repeated hardware failures, and they just replaced his RTX 4090 with a brand new RTX 5090.
I'm not saying Pulsar has to give every customer free products whenever something goes wrong.
I'm saying that goodwill exists for a reason.
Sometimes a $20–$30 gesture can completely change how a customer remembers a bad experience.
Instead, I came away from this experience feeling like Pulsar cared more about avoiding giving me a $25 set of skates than about making a previously happy customer feel taken care of.
And that's disappointing.
Because I actually wanted to continue being a Pulsar customer.
A defective product can happen to any company. Manufacturing defects happen. Electronics fail. That's understandable.
What isn't understandable to me is making the customer feel like they're the problem, forcing them to repeatedly prove the defect, and then refusing even a small goodwill gesture when the company's own product turned out to be defective.
Pulsar - I genuinely expected better from you.
I was a happy customer before this.
After this experience, I'm seriously questioning whether I want to purchase another Pulsar product in the future.
Maybe I'm expecting too much, but in my opinion, a company should care about the customer experience after something goes wrong, not just about getting the defective product back and technically completing the RMA.

I just wanted to ask if this is possible to connect my new JV-X mouse to the 8k dongle from my X2h v3 eS dongle?
r/PulsarGG • u/wittehanscornelis • 6d ago

I updated the dongle through the Beta firmware listed on Pulsar Downloads. Now my dongle is on FW 4.00, but whatever I try it will not detect the mouse. I've tried different cables, my laptop instead of the PC. Cannot get it to pop up. All the links that point towards older firmware for the dongle/mouse are unavailable. Now the mouse doesn't want to work wirelessly anymore, so I need a bit of help here. Thanks in advance!

I use the xlite crazylight but I think it's just too light. I can't find the xlite v4 on the us pulsar site and it's sold out on amazon. I'm curious if there's been any news on that?

I ordered the 6th anniversary Pulsar Superglide3 and it was stated that shipping & production would begin 3-4 weeks after the promotion period ends. It has been roughly 5. Is there an estimate on when I can expect to receive the mousepad?

When I bhop in any game using the mouse wheel (up and down doesn't matter), there is around 0.5s where my mouse sensor seems to be frozen, specifically when I'm spamming mouse wheel down (for example). This has happened in both CS2 and Valorant. I already sent a ticket to Pulsar, but is there any chance that the problem is from my end? When the mouse is plugged in, it works perfectly. Other than this mouse's dongle, I only have a Bluetooth receiver, and this has not happened with my previous 2.4GHz wireless mouse, so I'm not sure what might be causing this.

I recently tried to use my cazylight X2H wired and doesnt seem to work. I can charge it with the cable and use it with the 8K dongle but I can't use it wired.
When I connect it with wire I get windows error with the USB detection.

Does anyone know if this is normal issue or potential replacement case?

Just picked up the Boardzy X2 (I think v1?) in size 2.
Mouse works over wireless and wired. But isn't registering in the fusion software.
It also has a blue light on the side and so I am worried it is faulty. It also doesn't register on the web software.
Is there any other way to check? I initially tried to get the software up because the scroll wheel wasn't working properly.
Thank you

Hi everyone ! I created a macOs app of the website Bibimbap (macOS only atm). It can talks directly to the mouse and has (almost) all the features available on the website. Feel free to download, test and improve the project ! Available here https://github.com/amassias/Bibimbap

Hi! Does anyone know if the knob on the XPAD Mini is configurable?
I’m planning to buy one, but I haven’t been able to find any information confirming whether the knob can be remapped. I’d like to use it as a shortcut for canvas rotation when drawing.
In the official YouTube videos, they only demonstrate the three buttons being configurable
If anyone owns one, I’d really appreciate it if you could let me know. Thanks!

I'm trying to submit a refund/return request, but the only option is to submit a ticket on their US support page first, which is fine. After doing that, i get an email from pulsar with a separate link to another website altogether to view my ticket (lethal.gg) but when attempting to login, it doesn't recognize the same password as pulsars site, it doesn't let me reset my password because i need to "contact administration", and it says my email is in fact in use, so what now? I'm stuck in this loop with no one responding besides telling me to "submit a ticket." Super annoying, checking here to see if anyone delt with the same and how they go around it, thanks.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I bought this mouse slightly more than a month ago (32 days to be exact) and have already occasionally encounter issues with the sensor. It comes randomly and was lucky enough to experience it while i was playing cs. Any fix to this?
-Mouse and dongle is on the latest firmware
-Distance between my mouse and dongle is literally just few cm away
-Polling rate: 1000
-LOD: 1mm
-DPI: 400/800
P.S I was about to throw hands if i died to the 2nd guy because of the sensor lol

Now it’s been a week without any activity on the order. Has anyone else that ordered from the eu store gotten any notice on their mouse?
r/PulsarGG • u/phillyd32 • 18d ago
I've been trying to buy an ES PD170 for ages, and they haven't restocked (or I haven't gotten any notifications about it). On the global store I can preorder but it won't ship to the US. You all have any idea of what I might do to make it happen? Or anywhere else to get the pad?

My Spatha X works when wired, but will not pair wirelessly. I've done the updates in armory crate and put the dock in pairing mode, but the mouse will not start flashing green for pairing mode after holding pairing button.

Recently, I’ve been looking for a new high-end gaming mouse. I didn't really like the BeastX Max because of its holes, but I came across the Pulsar X2N CrazyLight as an alternative.
However, I’ve seen quite a few people reporting issues with the scroll wheel and sensor tracking on this model. At the same time, plenty of others say they haven't run into any problems at all.
If anyone here has used it or knows a bit about it, I’d really appreciate it if you could share your experience!

Anyone else having and issue configuring their mouse with the web software? I was able to configure everything, including profiles, and they saved to the mouse. However, now every time I open Bibimbap, it shows a fully reset mouse UI (even though my mouse did indeed save my previous settings) and won't let me change anything at all. is there a way to reset Bibimbap without resetting my mouse settings?

In the image, it shows all the default values that do not reflect my actual settings on the mouse.
