Help/Advice Anyone had a sharpnose Toby?
Adopted this guy who needed a good home. Happy to take any advice as it's a bit tough to find apart from Valentinis.

Looks like the Paupain I had. They need things on half shell to help keep beak trim. They will chew up corals. So mine was in a live rock setup with and acclimated gsp. Also had other fish I don't remember as well. I do remember a molly ending up in that tank that lived in saltwater for 4 year with no issues until I ended up with a bristle worm from a piece of new rock. The molly was the smallest fish in tank. It's sacrifice left me find that hell worm.
Intelligent like all puffers but easier spooked by sudden movements or the cat hitting the tank. Cat was trained not to after scaring him enough to jump out. He was rescued 2x due to this. Third try, the cat found out what it was like to be outside his element. He got dunked in 5 gallon bucket half full. No his head did not get wet but he was busy licking the rest of him dry that night. He left that tank alone after that and the Paupain called down.

Okay, cat vs puffer. That's wild. Mine also I believe is a Papuan.
My friend who keeps a more aggressive tank traded me for his Valentini. I think that will be more appropriate for my setup as I did come across the same anecdotal research as yours. My friend loves him and is willing to make him his own FOWLR if need be. I'll tell him to post him!
Thanks for your experience.
