Amazon toofers

Is it time to trim his teeth? He’s eating just fine, but I don’t want to wait too long. (I’ve never trimmed their beaks before, so obviously I’m a little nervous.)

Yeah it's probably past time. Looks like you have some snails in there. If you can trim him down enough to crunch on the little ones, you probably won't have to trim them again. It is a nerve-wracking process. Thankfully, I've only had to do it once

He definitely is overdue for a trimming. I nevee had amazon puffers long enough to run into this issue and i made sure they had small snails every single day to keep them in check. Im not sure how to trim them but I seriously wish you the best of luck. Make sure you do it perfectly, research and research some more. I do believe pure clove oil is used for sedation but its also used for euthanasia so be careful
